- Disarm the system: Enter your master code on the keypad.
- Locate the power source:
- Usually a transformer plugged into a wall outlet in the basement near a 14in tan or white box.
- Internal battery compartment within the main panel.
Disconnect power:- Unplug the transformer from the outlet.
- Open the battery compartment and carefully disconnect the battery terminals. You will see one Red and one Black wire
- Wait 30 seconds: This allows the system to discharge and clear memory.
- Reconnect power:
- Plug the transformer back into the outlet.
- Reconnect the battery terminals and close the compartment securely.
- Wait for system reboot: It may take up to a minute for the system to power up and complete its startup sequence.
