Checking for Updates on Sonos Systems

Keeping your Sonos system up-to-date ensures you have access to the latest features, bug fixes, and improved performance. Here's how to check for updates on your Sonos system: 

Using the Sonos App (Mobile Device):

 
  1. Open the Sonos app on your iOS or Android device.
  2. Tap the Settings tab (usually looks like an icon with gears or lines).
  3. Navigate to System  or  System Updates (depending on the app version).
  4. Tap on System Updates
  5. Select Check for Updates.
 

If an update is available, you'll see details about it and be prompted to install. 

Important Notes:

  • Make sure your Sonos system is connected to the internet to check for updates.
  • During the update process, do not unplug your Sonos devices or interrupt the update.
  • It's recommended to keep your Sonos app updated as well for optimal functionality.
